i have a corsa b 1996 1.2 8v with 94 thousend on and my brother has a corsa b 1994 1.2 8v with 110 thousend on but i just drove his and it feels alot loser and alot quiker yet there the same engines,and his goes in to gear easier is that because my clutch is on its way out.

Linkage could be to blame for the gear change.
You sure it's not in your head that's his motor is quicker?

No idea why one would feel faster. Yours running right/serviced recently.
As for the gears is your biting point on the clutch really low to the floor. If so adjust the cable to bring it up a bit (easy job) As mine used to adjust its self gradually to the floor all the time and would make gear selection more difficult as they wernt fully disengaging

Get it serviced, dnt complain i wish i had my 1.2 for running about in miles better on fuel than a x16xe... 150 mile for 35 quid of 97/99! fuck that lol

On top of the gearbox on the right hand side!
Be carfull, u may cause it to slip if u mess about with it to much!

exactely the same happend to me. It feels alot smoother now after doing this.

wat did u do gtm.
and my one is not a post 97 it was made a few months before as it didnt have post 97 bumpers on i put them on

Most likely due to them experiencing a different Running In Procedure and levels of Servicing or the like TBH.

Found this old school pic in my garage of my 1.2
The nut you adjust is the one on the end of the arm coming from under the plastic bag/cover thing

Get someone in the car to work the clutch pedal and you will see it moving as its at the end of the cable
