Looking to re do the wheels on the bike as the factory finish is crap, and is flaking off in places.
Just wandering if it is better to have them repainted red, or just to get them powder coated.
What are the pros and cons of both methods?
Also which gives the better finish?

take them back to bear metal, etch prime and paint them thats what i did, or even polish the rim like mine

Been tempted to polish them. Do they take much looking after. Don't want something thats going to be high maintenance.

not really, a bit of autosol which is cheap anyway take about half hour to do, well worth it imo i also went for this look as most bike now seem to go down the pin stripe rim look
