my friends mot expires on friday, it fail but wont be fixed for a couple of weeks. However her tax expires at end of month. What time does the mot actually expire. I.e. End of the day, lunchtime, 23:59 on the marked date of expiry. Basically can she walk into post office on friday (the 29th) and get a tax disc (mot expiry date, 29th) she cant do it before friday as she has no moneys

they wont let you tax it on that in a post office as the mot expires before the tax starts.

as daveylc says try it online see what happens
