People who say its not worth 5k are very narrowminded.
Like what people are saying, its worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Consider this, if you were after a corsa, and wanted to build it to a similar spec, you would spend a crapload more than 5k on it.
So why not buy one already done?
Its not rocket science.
On that note, i wouldnt pay 5k for a corsa, on the principle that i have done my xe project as it was a "cheap" way to modify a car & go faster, if i had 5k, i'd buy something newer i think.
BUT, if i wanted another corsa, and had 5k, i would consider this.

Doesnt concourse mean a mint standard car? Ive always thought it meant that, i could be wrong tuough.
The end of the day, its a bright orange 96 reg (dare i say it boy racer) corsa for 5k and it does not float my boat. The corsa is never going to be a future classic so this cars price will drop hugely wen the person sells it next

You dont buy something like this to hold value, its to blat about in, polish & show off.
concourse has different levels iirc, it just has to be as anally clean as possible.

age is irrelivent in a car like this, if anyone has seen pictures of this inside out its probably in better nick than most cars on the road. as been said, you buy this to chip about in and show off not sell it on in 6 months time.

What about the guy that spent (I'm guessing) about £10k doing it? And every other person that's spent thousands restoring and doing up older cars.
One of those horses for courses things tbh.
Spending 10K on a 13 year old corsa not seem a bit extravagant to you let alone silly?
nope, knowone is asking you to spend your money on it ? so why the issue

If it was a nova it would be worth it I say, corsas still have the ned/chav image which novas seem to be losing now.

It's not an issue James. I'm all for spending money on cars, i do it. Just 10k on a corsa just seems silly to me now. Other people feel differently about it, like i'm sure you do.

spending 10k on any car is silly. doesnt matter what the car is. corsa or a ferrari. its just silly, pointless and a waste of cash.

IMO id rather spend 10k on something unique rather than just ANOTHER vxr/st/gti etc
