heres the spec
£1500-£2500 budget
realible
no small cars corsa saxo etc
cheap to run

no more than 20 miles from wn6 8hn

newer the better Really, only wanted for 3-6 months then want to resale with as little loss as possible

any ideas?

Could get a decent Mondeo or Vectra for that?

£2500 will get you a Yaris. You don't want a small car (which is smaller than small) but they are reliable, cheap to run and hold their value well.

They do a 5 door Yaris

Look at Corolla's then. Won't be the most recent shape for that money though.

My girlfriends dad bought a saloon Nissan Almera with 56k on the clock, T-reg for £1k earlier in the year. Absolute bargain and great runaround if you ask me. Aircon too.

My mates of similar spec and price has been far from reliable. All sorts of things wearing out etc.
