been on chris astley site and alway look at these, just wondering if anyones bought and used them before and what the thoughts on them?

cause as good a method as it is id rather just waste the money and but better ones

have them on mine. theyre pretty good. eliminate a fair bit of engine movement. for the front gearbox mount, you have to cut a bit of metal out to make it fit.

i heard about that nick cheers for the pic was just going to use a bore cutter and make enough room for it to pop through and get a socket on it

mine creased the back engine mount as i dont use a gearbox spacer. had to strengthen the back mount up loads.

so is there any major issues im going to come across? the cutting a hole for the passengerside bolt i can live with, im able to set up a gear selector as well but any thing else?

lol, not really. I had to re-adjust my linkage because the engine had moved; due to one of my 'normal' mounts being broken. lol

IMO, solids are fecking awesome. Tiger sealing 'normal ones' just isn't the same.

yeah totally dave. nowhere near the same. my keys jingle in the ignition as the shell vibrates with the engine. awesome.

i had a 2p vibrate its way across my dash then disappear down an air vent. still havent found it yet. solid mounts are great though. took a hell of a lot of the engine movement up in my car.
