An oil change will be getting done this weekend on the corsa.

Wheres the best place to get original vauxhall parts, such as the oil, new filter and possibly a new sump nut? i would imagine from a local dealer but i dont want to turn up and find out they have to order them in. cheers

If you are going to a garage to have it serviced they will have everything.. Oil is 10w40, filter is common vauxhall one and it will just require a new copper washer.

Can get it all from your vaux dealer, I tend to get service parts from the motor factors myself, but then it's not original.
These guys do alot of genuine vauxhall parts http://www.vauxhall-car-parts.co.uk/

On trade club Filter is about 99p and oil is about £14 for one bottle or you can buy 4 x 20 litres for £35, the washer will be about 15p.

Just use an old oil bottle, cut a rectangle out of one side with a knife.

You might need a rubber o-ring instead of a copper washer, depending on your engine.

You'll need a rubber o-ring and a paper filter element. The filter is in a plastic cylinder to the right of the engine. You un-screw the lid of the filter casing and get ready to catch any spilled oil. Pull the filter element out and pop the new one in.

The rest is the same as any other Corsa
