Where can i get these.. the road legal ones for the front.
dont know what size though

basically i will be ordering a private 5 digit plate and want it to fit nicely into the VXR8 recess. site like newreg etc only offer standard size plates

want it to look like this

I cut mine down myself but want more of a better edge.

How much are they already done???

I cut mine with a hacksaw and filed the edge to finish when I had a short one on my impreza.

Big Eck have you been in grangemouth in your car at all the past couple days? If not then ive been giving thumbs up to a stranger...what a diddy

blukoo's dad has cut down ones on his rs. i wanted to know this too. 5 digits on a standard sized plate looks stupid.

I used to cut them down myself with a Jigsaw and file the corners round.. Just put masking tape over the plate so you can mark your line and corners.

I was going to cut mine down and sand the edges with some wet and dry and a block but the badgers screwed my plates on

I cut mine down myself using a Bandsaw, and smoothed ever the edges using a mounted rotary sander - I also used a silicone and rubbed a VERY thin layer over the edge as a weather seal

But, I did buy the full size plates new, then hacked them up straight away - asked for a plate with no EU Bollocks, or Borders etc etc

Just cut them yourself, you'd need the BS mark, postcode and where you got them for them to be legal though.
