what oil is best to run an engine in? i was told you can buy special oil specifically to run an engine in?
anyone know?

about 1500miles then drop it and change the filter?

people will tell you different stuff.
i change mine after its had first warm up for say 30 mins once up to temp. then at 100, 250, 500 then thats it. but thats just the way i do it. everyone will tell a different story. up to you which way you do it.

If its a rebuilt engine aren't you supposed to change oil and filter at around 100miles as thats when most of the metal filings etc will start flowing round the system?

I bought a brand new crosser 125 4 stroke. After 25 miles i dropped the oil, full of iron fillings.
