I need to sell my car as soon as possible so i can buy something standard-ish as police round here are going crazy on modified cars and i cant afford to get points or a fine.

Honest opinion is that it's still a 1997 1.2 8v LS at the end of the day.
I would think you could get £1000 for it, some will buy it for the looks, as a first car to.
I would say worth about £600 to me, tax needed and small hole in the cat

ye i understand its probably not a great upgrade for someone but would be a great first car. Tax is ony £112 a year and the hole can be/is patched up with gun gum which was good enough to pass its MOT

dont see why your car would get you into trouble or get you point really. Glad to see you got the bonnet looking good again by the way

Everything is legal but its the hassle of being followed everywhere and being pulled over all the time for "random checks". ive been pulled over 3 times in one night by officers doing "random checks", do they not all talk to each other over radios? its turning into a joke now round here we cant even all park up get out and talk anymore as its classed as "anti-social behaviour" because theres a group of us. if we are seen together in a group again we have been threatened to have Section 59's given to us. All the time and effort of taking documents into police stations, standing at the side of the road for hours while your car is checked over is just getting too much for me now. i just want a car where i can blend into the background still see my mates and go out without being accused of being anti-social.
plus ive had the car 2 years now aswel and just fancy a change.
