it was an awesome bit of road, shame our driver (missus' mum) is absolutely shite at driving and nearly broke my neck braking suddenly all the time

A85 is crap from perth to Crieff. We go the back way up through gleneagles etc on the bikes.. Agreed though, crieff onwards on the A85 is phenomenal..

That road in general is good, it's good when it's quiet from perth to crieff but not during rush hour.

I just got back from the Cat And Fiddle with MattK.. and apart from it being mega busy and full of bikers and 5-0
The first section up to the pub is

I didn't, was my first time up there

Matt is a veteran though, left me for dust behind a couple of sunday drivers

I was abit to 'merry' in my old corsa around there. Funnily enough, i havent been on the bike as im not the keen on loads of twisty roads on 2 wheels.

I love how you can see all around the mountin, so you can over take about 6 cars in one go

No, but that's a good shout - not been up much myself but I hear there's some cracking roads up that end.

It's a road up my way, beside a place called Eaglesham.
