Was on ebay looking at the DTUK chip that i was planning on buying for the astra in a few months.. That would be fine but I thought I'd just stick a cheeky best offer on it, only for it to be accepted.

So £220 quid worse off now but will have 200bhp by Tuesday..

Went for the ECO 3 one.. Didnt see any great advantage in the CRD2 one.

It will used for the economy more than anything, as my gf uses the car for work. 200bhp wont go far wrong when I'm on my days off though..

A remap for £220.... no you cant. And £220 to gain an extra 50bhp and much better fuel economy.. Hardly expensive.

And as above car has nearly 2 years warranty left so I can just unplug this box if its in for warranty work or a service.

You can get a remap for 220, you can get remaps for half that, you can also get they tuning boxes for half that if you keep your eye out, which is why I said it was expensive.

Warranty is an issue and a good reason for getting one of they boxes yes, you used to work for arnold clark though so i'm sure you would have managed to get around it if need be.
