I know this is in the wrong section but need help asap
The Igntion barrel has collapsed on my dads vectra, we have drilled it and removed it.
My question is what do we have to replace?
Obviously we will need new ignition barell and key, will i need the transponder unit thats for that key will i need ecu?
Constructive help appriciated

should be able to take the chip out of old key and put it into the new key.

should only nead a barrel and key. Transfer the chip over and thats it.
