Pre facelift e46 330ci 3 series, what wheels fit?

He's already bought what he's telling me were 255 mv2's which didn't fit, what fits?

What's the widest that fits?

The ones he bought scrubbed somewhere, he thinks the facelift rears might be wider, I have no idea.

robin had issues fitting 19"s on his E90. Im guessing its a saloon not a coupe? As for some reason i dont think the clearence is as bog.

Are the tyres correct profile?

i forget the model name, but 3 series convertibles with the Msport (i think?) pack had mv2s as standard. Its either lowered, or got wheelbrarrow tyres

m3 fronts fit on any e46 but the rears dont due to width and offset - so you need 4 front alloys

sports had rolled arches too, so MV2s should fit no probs

mine was the same car but without rolled arches, lowered 45mm and sat on MV2s fine

So if he wants M3's it has to be 4 fronts, least I can go back and tell him that

Those arent 'Rear' M3 wheels barnshaw. The offset is that low that the M3 wheels will not go on a 3 series, not without serious issues.

John, theres no reason why MV2's shouldnt fit, they come standard with a 255 tyre, There wernt any body changes at all between 2000 and 2006 on the E46.
