Brothers GTI, minus the morettes, as he sold them already. Years MOT and a few months tax, going to go for it methinks.

Getting it even cheaper now, its MOT'd untill the 22nd, offered him more cash to MOT it, but got it cheaper instead, ill MOT it myself.

What springs have you got on that? Sportlines or the 30mm ones? Pick mine up on Wednesday and need to sort springs out.

What do you think of them.. My other half will be using th car 90% of the time so not sure whether the 50/30's are a good idea or not..

Got the car today, goes well, just like the XSI but more comfortable and less noisy

Still would of rathered the XSI though

Looks alright.

Id be looking at getting the bonnet sprayed back to normal colour because just not it looks like you've had an accident and couldnt afford to get it painted!!

New wheels would be 2nd on the list.

Then it would look mint IMO

Not planning spending too much on it, if a bonnet comes up in the right colour ill get it changed.

Or PX it against a sundance yellow one.



I almost bought one of these when I was 19 but got an MR2 instead. Its one of the cars I almost owned which I kind of always wished I had.

It wouldnt cost too much to just have the ole thats there painted!! £150 or so?

Don't bother with the Eibach, get the DAP-R springs.

Doesnt seem as quick, but now that I have a working speedo, its seems to get to 100+ very quickly
