After seeing them on Top Gear on sunday, I quite fancy doing one, if its me driving or navigating (think I would be good at navigating).

Does anyone here do/done them? any info on them?

Done loads both driving and navigating.
Navigational scatters are probably the easiest then 12 car rallies and then road rallies which usually have a novice or beginners class.
If you get to expert level they are mind boggling as everything is in code and you have to work it out to get the correct route, all against the clocl of course.
Join your local motor club and see what events they are running. Club events are very cheap motorsport.
