ive had loads of phone calls about my car (as its forsale obviously) some say well il be in touch (some ring back some dont) but the ones that say there coming over to view/buy are getting to me..

ive got my car ready/cleaned/polished and me not gone out to wait for them 3 times now, and no phone call or txt..

the last one was yesterday, the lad said he was coming after work so i changed my plans, and i give the car a very good wash/hoover (not that it needed it tbh though) for a few hours, and he rang saying sorry mate cant get down now but he will be here first thing in the morning (around 8) so i got up this morning, and give the car a once over and once again no show/no txt/phone call nothing..

i dont know why people bother ringing about cars if they have no intention of viewing it..

Happens all the time. Worst is when you take it off ebay for them.

Worst is when you sell it with no stereo etc, and you go to the extent of taking it out incase they buy it there and then, and then they dont turn up.

All of my cars have sold to the first person who looked with no hassle, 2 of them flying up from England.

I think it's the sort of buyer the corsa, or any car in that price range, attracts.

They know there are plenty to choose from and they'll not miss out if they don't bother.

Its one of the reasons i gave up selling mine. All the time i had wasted was unreal.

Same John, any car ive sold has been to first to view, with the exception of one guy who really wanted it, offered too little done the walk away thing then moaned when I sold it to the next guy for the asking price saying he'd have paid more if id made an effort to hound him. haha okay

The problem with the corsa is the age group the car attracts, young lads full of big ideas & no cash to put down.

As I've said before, its easy to spot a piss taker a mile off, email after email after email goes by without any sign of actually buying the car or making effort to. I just stop replying to them once I'm onto it, its easy to spot because if they really want it they usually want to speak to you on the phone and want to come down ASAP to see it and usually agree a price before they even look at it. And I've sold roughly 20 cars now.

If they dont get in touch with you when they say they are coming down, ring them and ask, they dont answer the phone if there not interested.

Edit: I've only ever had one person not buy the car when they turn up, and I knew straight away by the way he was acting when he seen the car he wasnt going to buy it within about 30 seconds, soon as he made his excuse I new I wouldnt see him again. "Taking the baby the shop for a pack of crisp and a drink, I'll walk up so you no I'm not going to run off" Then he drove off in his car soon as I went inside I seen it coming.
