not bad is it, 99 pounds for 8 laps a day, but its only barrier/recovery insurance, doesnt cover smashing into someone and stuff. I dunno, you could just not drive silly and risk it

The German Insurance companies are intelligent enough to realise that the Nurburgring/Northloop is a public toll road.

Our twattish insurance companies don't want to know.

It's a good idea, and is a giant leap in the right direction, but what everyone wants is 3rd party cover to cover yourself when you drop oil over the track and cause Mr Ferrari to smash his Enzo up and you responsible for replacing his Enzo.

I've been reading about this on Pistonheads and Northloop for the past couple of days.

It would have been handy for Gavin when he came acropper as it would have meant he didn't have to pay the armco bill, but at least he would have still been £1300 better off.
