just leisurely driving back from the shops about 30mins ago, down a 30mph normal road, some old c**t in a picasso on the other side goes to overtake a woman on a bike whilst i'm about to pass the other way, the bike wasn't near enough to the kerb and there was never room for him to overtake, however he does and both of our right side front ends were about to connect so i swerve hit the kerb and f**k one of my cesaros. tyre looks fooked too, just about got it home, i wish i'dve let him hit me now
(sorry gavin18787, one of your old wheels is now a mess )

Why did you not slow right down when you seen him going for it to avoid a collision, then turn round, drag him out the car and show your displeasure?

well 2bf, there was no reason why i should slow down from 30mph when my side of the road was clear, until i saw him make the move it was far to late and by the time i'd slammed on i still hit the kerb at about 20/25
why is it you always have to f**king think for yourself and other old idiots driving about on the roads

There is no reason why you should slow down no, but you could have avoided it for the sake of a dab of brakes.

Not saying he's in the right but you have to drive for yourself and anticipate what other people are going to do/not do

You shouldn't have to slow down no, but if the guy was going to hit me i'd slow right down instead of damaging my wheels swerving to avoid him.

also, i hate to sound old, but hazard perception should have taught you to be aware of other people being idiots, not just yourself.

i know it's not your fault, but i've had it before when people pull out without looking and i have to slam my brakes on instead of hitting them, would rather use 1% of my brake pads then have a claim on my insurance.
