my headgasket has gone on one of my corsas its a 1.2 8v gls how do i set the timing so i can take the head off?

no mechanic but if im right u set up the timing when putting head back on?

yeha i a mechanic, we dont really worry about timing when taking heads off just put it correct when rebuilding, but you can line the arrow on the cam pulley with cut out at the top of the back cover and same with the bottom pulley.

Can be good practise when taking off though.
