I have several issues today, hopefully it won't be too much of a story...

Right,

1) For an MOT do you need the wipers to work on all settings, i.e. intermittent, on and flat out?

2) Does anyone know what each of the 5 wires that go to the front wiper motor do?

Now, I've forgotton the other issues since typing this - I will edit as the day goes on...

3) Since I've remembered - what fuse is the horn circuit on?

Any expierences or knowledge is welcome here

I've got the wiring diagram here below, the wiper motor is the item marked with a star and No. 92.

If anyone can give me a clue as to what each of the wires do for the motor?

Thanks

Edit: helps if you put the image Ellis...

1) aslong as they wipe and wash 99% sure

2) the 5 wires
white, yellow , green wires are the wires that send/recieve signal to determine wiper speed
brown is your earth violet and black wire ignition feed i think!!

as long as the wiper works your ok. ive re-wired my corsa to a very basic loom to save weight and have the minimum for an MOT, id have to look which colour is for which speed, but aslong as one speed works your fine.

Right, wipers are on a switch now - but they do not stop at the scuttle when you turn off the switch...

Anyone know if that's an MOT failure?
