I miss my Astra SRI 1.9 CDTI (150PS) with Exterior Pack. Cheap running costs ftw.

Insurance was cheap as anything too.

I was dead set on an octavia vrs in the next couple of months. After looking round vauxhall at corsas with the gf i'm seriously considering a 150 cdti.

I like the dash but it's not as good in the astra and the astra isn't as well specced.

I like the fact the sports button means I can drive to work with decent mpg then press it for a remapped 200bhp.

Threads like this don't help.

i too have looked at 5door astras with the 150 cdti engine. Look good too.

Hat's of to DAP, dont no a huge ammount about them but looking on VXRonline he seem's to no his stuff and has made them two dap-devil car's quite well tbh.

went out in one of these 150 cdti's last nite. was fairly impressed, not enough gear in first (understandably) but in other gears the pull was immense, remapped one must be bags of fun.

Yeh 1st and 2nd are gash, but the rest are ace - even pulls nicely in 6th lol.

i think all astra SRI's have sport buttons

and yes its an optional extra


just worked it out, he was 25 seconds quicker than i was to the famous corner

I'm impatient and have been driving my toledo about for long enough

Can get a 58 5dr for 9k and a 3dr for 10k.

as far as im aware, vauxhall have now stopped the production of the 5 door, only still making sporthatches and twintops till new release of the astra mk6
