I can't help but find it pointless paying more for a Megane that is track prepped. Surely it'd be cheaper to buy one fully loaded, sell all that for big profit, then put a cage in?

Agreed, also things like the cage are an option, you dont have to have these for it to be quicker than the focus. Renault know the market and are simply giving customers the option as many will take it.
