20XE conversion
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

i have one of these lol
as ste said a xe conversion would bring you the biggest improvement in BHP but as you might not have the money for one of these conversions i would get for the 14xe.
1.. Head off and sent away for porting and lower inlet matched.
2.. Powerbox upper inlet (buy one off flame on here they are cheapish and they provide a good power increase)
3.. inclosed induction kit or (de restrict your normal air box, give it a good cold air feed and a free flow panel filter)
4.. set of fast road cams
5.. upgraded exhaust manifold 4-2-1 with Oxygen sensor getting data from all 4 cylinders not the shitty ones that get it from 1 as it will fail MOT
6.. Cat back exhaust system janspeed do a good one but i prefer a 2" or 2.5" outward rolled tip and cant find anyone who makes them anywhere.
7.. Lower it by 40mm to 60mm on a propper suspension kit not just springs.
8.. good set of vaux alloys (personal preferance) with good tyres.
9.. ARP con rod bolts and a remap to alow a 7.5k rev limit as the inlet manifold comes into its own at arounf 5-5.5k
10.. when it needs a clutch get yourself a lightened flywheel and a heavyer duty clutch and have that fitted
and that would be about it really, would make it completely different to drive compaired to your standard 14xe

save your money mate and wait till you can get something better! please! you'll only regret it for the rest of your life! in a year or two time you'll look back and think "im such a foooool for spending 3k on to a wanky corsa" sounds harsh but the truth hurts! its a corsa forum and alot of the members and prem members dont even own corsa's any more! telling you something?
or as said before red top it and leave it alone!

for the cost of that he could fit and insure a c20xe

3 door = less weight which in turn means quicker
