Now that Bell are wanting to charge me £150 for the pleasure of driving other cars I thought I'd shop around for insurance.
Bell were quoting me a fairly respectable £634, Fully Comp with a £650 excess, coursery car and windscreen cover.
Just confused.com it and Admiralcoming out cheaper, after a little fiddle around with the quote I got it down to £541!
Excellent - thats nearly half what it was last year!
Before I make the plunge and buy from Admiral - has anyone had any experance of them?
Also quoting very good on the Mito - only £500!!!
My quotes are based on me being 20, 3 years on a Full, IAM licence, 2 NCB, 1 at fault single car accident in 07 and my Mum and Dad as named drivers.
Overall though, very pleased

They're alright pow, not had to use them for anything though. I bought the policy and never spoke to them again til renewal time, which they couldn't compete with churchill on so i jibbed them off

What are IAM surety like for you pow?
I've not bothered getting a quote with them yet because my insurance has months left, Bell wouldn't do me a discount

Admiral and bell are the same company as 3lfz has mentioned. i have just swopped from Admiral to bell as they wanted £400 more?!
I had to make a claim in november and my car was written off. I wasn't all that impressed with the communication i recieved. I was doing all the chasing.

i was in the same position. had a Bell policy came to renew and confused it, their sister company Admiral were cheaper. same cover, same offices, the same just a different name. so i went with them. as some will know i have had to change over my cars over the past 9-12 months and they have been great about it just as Bell was. if you like Bell you wont have any complaints with Admiral!

My sister just did her insurance with Admiral. Wrote off 2 cars in 3 months and paying just over a grand on a 1.2 57 plate Punto.
Personally i wouldn't insure her
