Anyone got pics of the rear indicators and reverse lights painted red please??

Do you have to buy clear lights and tint them for it to cover properly or do you just tint standard lights??

Cheers.

Tinted my rears red, just sprayed the standards to get this effect. Use light even coats and you can then lacquer to get a glossy shine.
As Firestate says dont go too mad with the tint as it does effect the light output

mine (orange bulbs) shine orange but with a slight red/pink tint.. standard clear bulbs would shine more red than anything imo.

oh & Green bulbs will work to give a perfectly orange light but wont be as bright as standard.

My indicators used to flash red.

I think i might try some green bulbs when I put the lights back in!

Green bulbs dont work im affraid.Been tried and tested on the dub scene.

Oh and dont buy the light tint spray.

Go on ebay and get a tin of Tamiya model paint.Make sure its the flourescent stuff tho for clear shells and not a solid colour.Only £2.50 for a small tin which is more than enough.I done 2 sets of lights and still have some left.
