Got this yesterday.Swapped my Mk3 Golf Anni for it.......

Its a 2.2 Vti.Not super quick but does go good i have to admit.Has a silly big cone filter/hardpipe combo and it when it hits tec it makes some racket.
Loving it so far.Has all the toys cruise control etc.Immaculate inside and very good condition outside with only1 very small bubble on the corner of the back arch where the bumper sits.
Will get more pics later on.

Yeah its the 4ws model.
Aye its the H22A5 engine.De-tuned versions of your Cubie.I always thot vtec kicked in around 6000 but this kicks in at 5300.
No got much plans tbh as i llike it the way it is.Just a general tidy up and try get hold of the standard exhaust trims.
Oh and its a semi-auto.Was a bit put off to start with but i actually like it.Can still go up and down yourself with the tiptronic.

Yeh mines an H22A7. Mine hits v-tec at 5750 and goes to just over 8k.. Semi auto feel sluggish or not bad?

Its no too bad tbh. When cruiseing along at 60,put the foot to the floor and it drops a cpl o gears within a second and just goes. You deffo dont need to wait ages on it down-shifting.Probably shifts down quicker than a manual could.
Pulling away from junctions in the D4(normal auto) feels like it could do with revving a tad quicker if your in a hurry. But its always got the tiptronic for quicker take-off.

Not sure how the hondas work but when I had my A8, the auto box on that acted depending on how you were driving. If you quickly put your foot down it would accelerate and shift more aggresively than if you were smooth with the accelerator.
Have a play around with it, sure you will get used to it. Either way i'd say you came out well if it was a straight swap for the golf..

Thats exactly how it it.Foot down to accelerate then the more you go down,it senses how quick you want to go and drops to a sufficient gear.Foot to the floor and it drops a few and howls.lol.
Good thing too with the low vtec is it dosnt drop out vtec when giving it some.
Yeah straight swap for the Golf.
