its a cheap hothatch so corners are cut, interior wise. They are nice cars to look at from the outside. i have no clue about performance though, i can safely say they are very overpriced liked ive said before, they are the new 106 gti price wise.

4k for a car with nearly 90k on a 2001 model is a bit steep, but nice looking on the outside

people will say they will last forever but you have to be clinically insane to buy a lupo with nearly 90kfor 4 thousand pounds.

I agree....try selling that on once it's passed the 100k mark. Defo wouldn't be fetching the 4k your originally paid. (obviously if this was the car you had bought)

My brother had the Polo GTi - Good car except the gearbox! However i'm pretty sure the Lupo has a stronger box (6spd).

Lupo had 5 and 6 speed, 6 speed in the later and the better box.

125bhp, 0-60 7.9, 127mph.

Our Polo GTi is on 92k and drives lovely, I really like it. As fast as a Corsa SRi 1.8 16v, seats are a bit shit and you fall out of them so needs buckets.

I like them, but not worth 4k. Look at Polo instead you can get better priced ones and bigger selection.

I had one, then I sold it like a twat and I miss it every day

Brilliant little cars.

EDIT - I think the fact they are quite rare keeps the price up on them.

Excellent little cars, my mate had one for a while

They are expensive but thats because of their rarity and the fact theyre well nailed together, couldnt be any more different than a 106 GTi etc..

Theyre quick as standard and sound really grunty. Excellent fun to drive, handle really well too.
