As most of you know, my Dad died recently. My Mum wants to sell my Dad's car..
The body is not in the best of condition as it's covered in dents a scratches and would deffo need a full respray. However, it's a diesel Picasso on an 03 plate that's done just over 29k and has a FCSH.
I would love to keep it but it's not really a car for a young lad.
I don't know if i should keep it and get shut of my pug and then do the body work next summer.

It's just car park dents where twats have hit it.
It was my Dads car which is what makes it hard!

Use it instead of your Pug - will probably be more comfortable, do good MPG and only has 29k on the clock. Or just sell it on - I wouldn't worry about the dents & scratches, can't be that bad.

Considering the head gasket blow on the Corsa at 16k, French cars from my experience are built a lot better. Pug currently has almosy 43k on the clock and not missed a beat - well apart from a crack in the rad cover. I think that was the mechanic who did that by dropping the cap though.

Get a quote on the bodywork to have dents removed and all buffed. Then get a quote on a full respray and see which comes out cheaper? shop around abit tho.

It's around a grand to get the body sorted so it's mint again.
It's got 7 years worth of tesco car park dents. My Dad didn't really look after his cars and in that time it's been washed a handful of times. He however had it serviced once a year and MOT'd.
I don't know why he kept this car so long as he used to get shut before MOTs. That way cars would only have the odd dent here and there.

it's around 2.8 on the book. If they offer like 2k i'm going to keep it! That's pretty much throw away money the amount i've blown on cars

Got 3.5k for it in the end. My sister crashed the Corsa and now bought a Punto
Nice little car but paid silly money for it. She'll learn..
