Right work has got a Corsa C its a 1.2 Twinport, this went bang on friday everything shut down and the driver managed to get it to the hard shoulder. Now Vauxhall have said they have put a new engine in it, and i've went to pick it up and got it now, Would it take the quick to swap an engine over and cost £2,500 (ish) What do you guys think.

thats what i was thinking, for 2.5k you can sell you corsa as a non runner and buy another 1.2 with the 2.5k + what ever you get for selling the car

Thats what i was thinking (bearing in mind its a work car) But got all different opinions from guys at work saying they have only replaced the top end?

Problem with buying a different car would be that you don't know if it's going to happen again to that.
