I got done doing 83 in what i thought was a 60, but because of the vehicle i was in (VW Caddy) i should only have been going 50 (i didn't know this) and as far as i can remember, i got 6 points and a £300 fine for it.
If you've had your licence for less than two years and you get 6 points or more then you will lose your licence.

Is the A127 the one that randomly has a sort of half-roundabout thing quite near Southend? I think there's a petrol station there and possibly a Maccy D's as well IIRC?

WAY to far over, thats usually for like within 10mph over iirc
When I was caught on the a127 I think I was clocked at 85mph and went to the course

Not sure on that but if its your first time you may get a choice of a fine & points or a driver awareness course. Thats what happend to me when i did 48 in a 30. Now ive still got a clean license

Also he would have had that stated in his first letter.
3 Points & £60 Fine or optional Course at cost of around £60 but avoids points
My dad got a letter offering him the course after they sent him the notice of intended prosecution thing.

wow even with an edit you cant even spell WASN'T correctly.
and tbh i doubt you will be given the chance of the awareness course as you're young. I imagine it will be fine + points depending on how the feel should it go to court It could be 6points meaning ban.

id say 3 points and £60 fine mate. i don't think it makes any odds as to how much over you were going until you start approaching the double speed limit or reaching a ton. and as far as i was aware you can only receive 3 points and a fine from a speed camera?
