As above really, looking for one for a girl called Nicola. Any suggestions considered i.e nic, miss nic, etc apart from nicky or anything like it. Budget of about £200 but I've already seen a couple at about £150 that might do - just want to see if anyone can find anything better because people on here tend to be good at this sort of thing.

I wouldn't look anwyhere apart from the official dvla site.

Aye, fair point actually. I've seen a couple of others that look pretty reputable but I'll have a look at dvla the now.

You'd have to be a retard to think that looks anything like Nicola, if my name was Nicola and someone found or bought me that plate I wouldn't be happy to say the least.
For starters 8's on a plate look like either A's or O's to me, neither of which are in the first half of her name and there isnt a K present in her name whatsoever. If you cant find one which spells Nic or Nicola I wouldnt waste your money.

Without spending £500+ it's the best I'm going to get. And if you put it into one of the things that shows you it on a car on one of the websites it looks the part.

Right well let's agree we're both retards then. And by the way, a K sounds remarkably like C when you say it. And how the hell can you get a plate that spells Nicola using letters and numbers without spending thousands? And how does an 8 look like an A? Tbh you're maybe not a retard but you sound quite unaware of simple things.

Your completly missing my point, your correct im not a retard not sure about you but im not here to judge and I am more than aware of simple things but you appear to be buying one just for the sake of it. If your going to do something do it properly or not at all.
A k sounds like c when you pronounce a word but not when you look at the word written down. Dont skimp on it just for the sake of buying one, a shit one at that.
8 is a similar shape to a capital A to me, what would 888 represent in the plate you found???
I was lucky enough to get a decent one which ressembles my name for relativly cheap.
