or can anyone shed only light on there being 3 different sensors.

Theres only one type of screw in electronic sensor for the Corsa... The other type is a push in sensor.

The screw in type requires the gear on the diff (same as standard mechanical) the push in type is electro magnetic and the diff has a wheel with little cut outs.

so theres only one screw in type with the 3 wires in a triangle coming out of the plug.

Yep one type.. Not sure if you can get them with different pulse outputs.
