i'm wondering what the clearance with the front edge of the arches is like on softstars/speedlines at more than lower than 70mm etc
i'd like pictures if possible to show how much arch clearance 16s have. (front and rear?)
cheers

i ran 16" softstars -70mm, it looked like it wouldn't catch, but it cracked all the paintwork on the edges of my arch so it must have caught them

lol brad
basically, they're ET38, but the new wheels are still 16x6.5j so they'll sit 11mm further out than softstars/speedlines... if i know how much clearance ET49 peeps have i can choose tyres accordingly

This is about 80 on the back, with federal tyres on, they slightly catch but when i had the proxis on the back they didnt catch at all!
not sure about fronts as they are coilovers but if they were lower they would catch, but i think they may stick out a little ferther than standard on the front because of the wilwood disks.
hope this helps

Just been outside and measured mine for you. 16" speedlines as above with 195/40 profile tyres and a -100mm drop on the rear there is 19/20mm sized gap between the tyre and the arch

Get a tyre without an alloy protector lip.. a 195 can be 200-208 with them.. I have used 195 tyres that have been 188 & now currently 191..Every mill counts on the rear arches
