to be honest it probably wouldn't make much difference - the Jet is only a small jet ski type affair and waterjets are effectively only a pump; you'd overbear the impeller and achieve no extra speed or need a huge gearbox reduction. Jet's are only efficient in a very tight operating range.

We plug 220hp into a Hamilton HJ213 Jet which has a 213mm outlet; that thing looks like it has a 120mm diameter

They will go in absolutly anything though

What other engine thats as readily available as a redtop and will go in the amount things they do?

He wasn't asking a question. Just stating a comment. Which I agree with. I havn't seen another engine used in so many other cars. Popular vauxhall conversions, mk1 + mk2 Escorts, Mini's and alot more, but I have seen all of those done.
