hi does anybody know if your car is aloud to be modifed in any way for a vic check.

the reason for this is my first car is a damage repairable and and am goin to lower it and an exhaust possibly and wandering if it has to be standerd for this or not

VIC check is only to check if it's a ringer or not, they won't care if it's modded.

As John said, stands for Vehicle Identity Check, basically checking the Chassis plates havent been swapped etc, booking my new car in for one this week

Bought an 02 plate astra club with 70k other day, needs MOT, VIC, then getting sold, i give 600quid for it.

my clio sport passed her vic check a few wks ago and shes lowered, non std exhaust system, cammed, remapped etc. they dont bother with that just check all the trim colours match the registered ones and the chassis and vin numbers.
