I think I have already planned for my next car change in 2 years time. I had originally planned to go for an Astra VXR when I turn 21,hopefully still having all my years no claims. Right now they seem to be about £15-£16k for a Nurburgring one. However browsing Pistonheads I see for that sort of money you can buy an E46 BMW M3!
Me being me I decided to do a mock quote on moneysupermarket to see if my dream could come that early Cheapest quote I got back was £1305.35 Fully Comp for a year from Admiral based on a 21 year old male,4 years no claims bonus and no convictions, also with both parents as named drivers Wooo!

In terms of insurance prices and still having full no claims and no convictions on my license...I agree, these could change. As for the car, that won't be changing, been set on it before I could drive, just didn't expect my budget to allow it as soon as this

Cheers james. Seems to be the majority vote is to wait until your 21,which is what I am doing. My postcode also helps with insurance a crazy amount for some reason

Because you live in a big house in a posh area with fields next to you
Plus it takes about 45 minutes to get out of your street

My insurance quote on an Astra VXR is £2600 FC atm. Goes down to £1700 next month cause I'm 21. Amazing difference.

Muzzy- My house isn't posh and i only live next to fields as I'm waiting for the 'council' to put another high rise in
James- Yeah I read most of it. As said though that is the reason I am waiting until I am 21, I wouldn't pay over £2000 a year for any car at any age for insurance I don't think
Graham- Yeah mate, even the difference my 1 year's no claims made was incredible I thought. Insuring my clio 172 at 18 for £1500 fully comp
