I personally wouldn't claim on anything for less than 2.5-3k on insurance atm, cos I know I would just end up paying that again in the long run. Cos I would then be another young modified car owner with a big claim, not good for insurance prices!

i see your point but if you want a lupo with leather you will have to pay an even more crazy price. My mate was looking at them at the start of the year before he got his cupra R and i was amazed at their price! I suppose they are like how 106 gti's used to be, overpriced tin cans that are aesthetically pleasing.

i completely agree they're overpriced for what they are... but it's the whole vw 'premium' thing lol, and they're already seen as future classics by some hence high prices for the good ones... they never really got replaced as there's no gti version of the fox...

Nice cars, Mate has one that is a bit of a bad egg though.

Gearbox, Clutch, Shaft and loads of other random shit/usual VAG sensors has gone so far.

I'd still love one though

VW's hold their values well, the Lupo Gti is desirable as there are only so many made and have since ceased production and so are seen to be 'Rare', TBF its not very often you see one on the road unlike 106 GTi's, they are also out the of the price range of most chavs which makes them more desireable IMO.

Why not? It's only 4 years old. Seems a much more realistic price.
