Not really knowing what to expect initially I wasnt that excited about the trip, more worried about the effects it would have on my car. Needless to say I have been well and truly bitten by the bug and cant wait to go back again.
Not knowing the track I didnt expect to get any quick laps particularly, I foolishly timed my second lap out and from then on had something to work on. My last lap being my quickest which was a 9.21 (thats with a stopwatch, not some time I made up in my head...) with a coach holding me up half way round, and an M3 that just wasnt commited enough for my liking.
I surprised myself though, and the car was brilliant. I cant really put into words how well the car was handling, its just fantastic, so chuckable and great fun, I felt very confident with it.
The banter was great too, we had some good nights out. Was also cool to meet some new faces, Lee, Scott, Rob, Andy, Tony, Ken_J ... Hope I havent forgotten anyone! Must say a big thanks to James and Lee for sorting my little birthday surprise! Wasnt expecting it at all.
I would list all the highlights for me, but thinking about it theres just loads! It was all in all a fantastic long weekend!
Not seen many pics of myself on track yet. The bikers were ridiculously annoying on a flying lap, not to mention dangerous. I think some of them must have a screw loose for going out there, especially at some of the speeds I saw them doing.

Anyway heres my pics, taken with my new 500D. I would have liked to have got more, but spent most of my time at the track eager to get out myself to be honest

Jesus look at the tyre wall! This was my last lap, and fastest out there. That M3 behind was with me for most of the lap, I let him passed right at the end, then he held me up and I had to pass him again, which definately lost me a bit of time!
