Hi, I'm new
My name is Oli and I drive a corsa GSi
I'm from Leighton buzzard and this is the first Vauxhall I've owned! So i'll no doubt be constantly asking for some form of advice
Pics from not long after I got it

Was in a pretty sorry state when I bought it, No tax or test, seats barely bolted in, running rough, brakes almost non existant, hardly any electrics working, bits of body-kit missing, missing a fog light, and a large rust hole inside on the rear arch, generally a bit of a hound really, but I love a challenge and had a couple of months til my insurance renewal so I bought it for £500 and got to work on.
thankfully lots of the problems were just fuses
new calipers, pads and discs sorted the brakes (brake pad retaining clips not fitting right)
sorted the seats out
oil and filter change some fresh shell V power
and a trip to the MOT station!
but it failed
Mainly on emmisions!
a bit of engine cleaner and a good italian tune on the way to the MOT station and she passed
Tax'd and insured it and was really quite happy, other than the wheels, not a big fan of the SXi wheels and they seemed pretty dam heavy when I'd had them off so they were the first thing to be changed, picked up a set of borbet type C's for £60 with no tyres, gave them a quick spray and thought they looked much better.
Lots of oil was being burnt though so I thought best get the stem seals replaced asap, would be a good time to change the HG and belt too as I couldnt find any history about that being done! So sent the head off and had it ported and polished at the same time (it would be rude not to)
Refitted the head and then made a tragic school boy error of not tightening the tensioner up!!!
bent valves AHOY!!
so currently in the process of saving up some pennies to get that sorted, but in the mean time keep spending money, got some kent cams in the post this week
new toyo tyres and a few other little bits!
Heres some sad pics of how she sits at the minute
looks much better polished up but I see no point as it doesn't work at the moment.
Will definately get some ASW pic's up soon as she's alive again

Thats my story!
