Got a quote from quinn for a provisional license at £850
So ill sort the full license part out when i come to it, seeing as it will probably take me 3-6 months to pass it wont cost as much as i expected so im glad to say i can keep the sport! Woop!

Nice one Sean glad to hear your keeping it. Dont be suprised if that goes up by about grand though when you pass. Thats what happened with mine but it still worked out cheaper than anywhere else

call them and do it on the phone, you will find most of them will drop significantly if you express an interest, and if it is more expensive play them off against each other, ie insurance company a offered it for £950 can you beat that etc, takes a long time but can save you some dosh
i have heard of a few people get screwed by quinn when they passed so make sure you ask them what the increase could be when you pass

Exactly, thats how they can afford to do it for £850.
Have you tried doing a quote for when you pass? If not, I would. Proberly end up being even more than the quotes you already have which will put you back to square one.

Well if they treble the 850 when i pass thats fine with me i guess aslong as its no higher but if its to much i was planning on getting another corsa to strip down to the shell, respray, and prep for my engine conversion so ill just get a 1.2 or 1.0 and use the sport for that

Sounds good mate. Would be worth while doing a quote for when you pass tho with Quinn. At least you no where you are then!
