Basically my mate has a MK1 gti that was stripped to be restored, and bought it in pieces, everything is done on the car aprart from the engine which is a KR 1.816v out the MK2 GTI, ive wired the ecu ignition side of things from scratch and ive managed to get a spark ect.

What i need to know is how do i wire the rest of the MK2 loom into the fuse board of the MK1 and what colour plugs do what, as i should only have to run the isv to get the car started in theory, but the car isnt fueling?

Any info detailed guides for the wiring would be much appreciated!!

Cheers Tom

would having both haynes manuals not give the diagrams on the fuse board.... and you can get them from the library usually!

MK1 Owners Club

Probably worth a try. Quite a common conversion by the sounds of it.
