hello, sorry if this is the wrong section.
here is my car at the moment
unfortunately due to being made redundant i can no longer afford insurance on it
im looking for a 1 litre corsa b, nice cheap and cheerfull, which i can afford insurance on just to get me to a-b so i am not losing all my indepedance
i quite fancy doing it as a rat/euro type thing, not looking to throw money at it really
so basically what brings me here is i want a cheap scrap value corsa b
but what common problems should i be looking for whilst viewing these corsa's?
i dont mind it looking like its just been crashed, as long as it is legal and safe

just check for rot and that it idles...
how much is your escort lowered? and what wheels are they?

its lowered 60mm, but i put a rear rs disc beam on which lowered it about another 10mm on the rear, the alloy are league racing ones, i had to sell them due to needing some money
idling- mk6 escorts have that problem too, very common, i have only ever owned a escort, so not got a clue about other cars really lol
