After a heavy night of alcohol abuse on Saturday night, we were greeted with a beautiful sunny Sunday.
It seemed only fair that we got together and went for a drive, sooner than waste the day sat drinking more......
So after a McDonalds and a shower, so we were legally allowed to drive, we met up.
I was in my Nova (E16SE), my mate had a 205 1.9 GTi (fully rebuilt engine - P+P'd head and camshaft of some sort) which he has just got for a runabout, and another mate had a 180bhp Exige TB'd 1800vvc MG/Rover ZR. A bit of a mixed bag, but turned out nice.
Living in the South West of Scotland, one of the many roads round here which gets the nod is the 'Dalveen Pass' (Google it). Its is quite possibly one of THE best roads in this region. Winding road, with 90% good tarmac, and although its quite busy at times, its only usually bikers who know the road, hence tramping on a bit)
I would liked to have taken more photos, but i got carried away with the task of stig-like driving... Still, i got a few
Have a look see folks, gimme some feedback (I didnt bring my tripod unfortunately).

Bumped into a few mates who were just on their way back from a VAG show in Biggar - Diggin' the Lupo.

The nova actually looks like a half decent colour in those pics.
The other times i've seen pics, its looked like a slightly faded terracotta.

The good weather and a bit of tyre shine brings out the colour in the car IMO.
I have to say, this engine is running VERY well. Left the 205 sitting on every opportunity, and didnt leave the back bumper of the Rover once! Was gaining on him on alot of bits too....
