Well there on.............and my god there noisy on the road

I have just bought another set of wheels to put normal tyres on to drive out there as they would drive me mad on a motorway! Plus a back up should the weather go bandy is not such a bad idea

Cant wait to test them on the track now.

Anyone after 255/45/17 R888's? We have a stock pile :/


A good bit of negative camber will get the tyres working much better on track

I hav just put 1 degree of neg on the rear but it needs a big mod involving cutting the top of the turrett off to put some solid adjustable top mounts in........a job for the winter me thinks

ive just put them on mine, and i dont think they are that noisey... probablycoz i cant hear them over the exhaust..

i went out tonight and i can brake better faster/harder in the wet with 888's on that i could with bridgies on..

cant wait to test in the dry

They do whine And drone a bit. Certainly more noticable in a stripped car.

what you get the 195/50/16's for these days shep? im struggling to get them any cheaper than 90 each.

we have 3 sitting off rims just now (still legal tread and good for trackday still )

Will have another 4 off the rims shortly. Prob more tread than the 3 above.

They look uber kool, i really do love R888 real good track road tyre, dont think id have them on a everyday car thou
