... and it looked very put together. C20XE from a cavalier GSI, Rear disc beam, Full rebuild a few months back, Bare shell respray in black when engine put in, very fancy alarm, port and polised, all samco pipes, etc. Only wanted £800.
Ive never driven a 'Redtop' Corsa before and i was very impressed with the power! Unfortunatley Me and my girlfriend have just had a baby and going from a passat to a corsa wouldnt be very good 
Just thought someone might be interested in it... based in Helston, Cornwall. Oh and is it a powercap at the top of the engine where the air filter goes to? It was Blue and had Mantzel written on it

This whole thread seems suspicious.
You go to test drive a 2 litre corsa, think the world of it but suddenly remember you have a child so come on a forum saying how good and cheap it is. And you seem to be talking it up a bit more than is normal.
If it's as you've described it, it should be picking up £1500-£2000 easily. This whole thread stinks of bullshit.

hpi isnt that good really as ive had motors that have been written off and not recorded! be carefull at £800 as it should be worth more in bits !sounds too cheap to me

 I can see what you mean by suspicious.
My first car was a corsa and i have always liked them and used this forum. I wanted to XE my old corsa but then when the baby arrived it wasnt practical! I thought i might have persuaded my girlfriend but then when she saw that it was a 3-door, she changed her mind.
Just thought someone on here might be interested, obviously not!

At the end of the day, There is a Corsa that i was interested in, but have now realised its not practical for me to have it. I am letting other know about it.
If it was my car then why wouldnt i put it in the classifieds?

It's something which is made to copy the sound of a turbo and is about the best thing money can buy to get disgusted looks from car enthusiasts everywhere.
That right there is probably the reason it's going so cheap.
