This morning i had a look at the PASSAT below. It was an all round nice motor.
There was enough space in the boot for the Pushchair + extras, and i liked it.

How long has your Corsa been up for sale? I would swap personally. It seems to have good service history and will last a damn sight longer than your Corsa. Not sure if you'd make a profit but if you go about buying every car with the intention of making a profit...Good luck!

Alright Mate! I had the exact same circumstances (Had a Corsa, Baby on the way, got a Passat) The Passats are good Cars- Mahoosive boot, Nice car to drive, alot of nice things as standard.
The only thing that is making me buy another corsa as a project is because of the lack of 'sportyness'(1.8 20v N/a) But i can see that your goin for the Turbo so that shouldnt a issue!
Just as a guide i paid £1300 on an R plate with 68000 miles and mint bodywork, BUT no service history!
Oh and i think Tax is £180 or something like that
Pics:

Hope i was of some help

Only thing is watch the tax, It'll be £215 this year and £245 next year, with the possibility of a £400-odd disk.
If you can live with that, go for it!

and also rememeber the high mileage, the engine may be fine but think everything else on the car has also done that mileage to. so you may have to replace other things. but still VAG will be better than GM.
as iv just gone from a corsa 1.4 to a mk4 golf 130. BIG difference.

Pow - Straight swapped it matey, dont regret as i love my family and they mean more. - i shall get another Corsa though once Financial situation gets better (ressions fucked me over )
My car (OLD CAR) is still very local, (down the road) so i will see it and its progress
Matt - Cheers Matey, Iv'e Been grinning since 11:54 this morning when i was signing the papers over, and drove it home.
Rich - SOLID is my word. I've wanted a VW for a long time as i know how good they are but i wanted the puh from you guys. thanks everyone im well happy.
Crofty - I'm 19
Before anyone asks Im NOT insured But i will be next year. i will soon have a small vehicle to drive to + from work so it seemed pointless insuring two cars as my partner is a very good driver and i trust her to drive the family car on family days out HaHaHa.
