Will soon have money to buy a new car and S14's seem to be growing on me atm even though their prices seem to have risen in the past year.

looking for something RWD with a max budget of around 2.5k and these seem to fit the bill, have even spotted a one or two nicely modded examples with FSH.

bar the obvious Smokey engines and VVT problems (whatever this is) what other problems do they have or are they good all rounders?

Only one I've driven was brilliant and a put a massive smile on my face.

I don't like them as standard though, they look a bit boring and aren't that fast.

sounds good getting more and more tempted everyday, i do like vauxhalls just a shame there is nothing RWD (standard) insurance isnt to bad either for the remaining 6 months its like £110 on top of my previous car which was a mk4 1.8 sxi which im sure is in a much much lower insurance group
