A nice 6 day week for me - solid work Tuesday through to Sunday. Then back on it again for another 5 this week

Various levels of cars I've worked on this week, but only had the camera on me this weekend, so here's the 2 I've done.

First up, yesterday - a Mini Cooper JCW Convertible. In "black":

Booked in for a stage 1 detail to give it a thorough tidy up and lay down some protection for the owner to maintain it in the future.

Even took the wheels off of this one (on the owners request) something I hate doing as it takes so long! Took about 2 hours to get them "clean" - they're still badly pitted.

Got to have the foam pic:

And a 50/50 on the exhaust!:

So, car jacked up, wheels off 1 at a time and attacked with Megs Wheel Brightner, arches and calipers with AS G101 and then wheel and arch with tardis.

Wheels refitted, vehicle foamed with BH Autofoam, rinsed, then washed using TBM with wash mitt and AS duet, roof scrubbed during foaming, left to dry and wiped over with Megs APC on a MF, then "sealed" with AS reglaze, rinsed, clayed with BH clay and dried. Polished with AS platinum, sealed with Jetseal 109, waxed with Dodo Rainforest Rub. Exhausts with wire wool and autosol, trim with AS vinyl shield, tyres & arches with AS finish, glass with AS glass clear.

Interior hoovered, mats shampooed, leather cleaned and conditioned, plastics wiped down with G101.

To leave:

A dark blue car!!

Then, today was a mates new Astra SRi (150ps 1.9 CDTi )

Had it a couple of weeks, but the PDI on it was shocking and left the car covered in buffer trails. No befores as I was on a limited timescale to do it as I also had brake pads to change on my C today

Same wash and clay method as the mini, polished with AS platinum, glazed with PB black hole, waxed with Dodo Rainforest Rub, glass cleaned then sealed with Gard X rain repellent that I found lurking in the van

Few quick afters:

Really really like these and it's bloody rapid imo Trying to convince them they want to tinker, but they're not convinced!!

Hope you're not too bored now!!

Thanks for looking
