Finally the Nova is alive!

So last week i set about removing the old seized engine, sourced a 'new' one, and swapped all the good bits over to the new engine (everything bar the head and block), bolted it up to the box and fired it in!

After a bit of pissfarting about with a dodgy distributer, fuel lines the wrong way round, and alternator issues, and whacking some tax on it, it runs!

The engine that is in now had been sat for ten years without so much as a turn of a key! But once i got a spark and fuel, it went on the first go! A new timing belt and fluids were used just to keep it safe-ish!

Now i can concentrate on removing all the guff thats on it.

Parcel shelf
Orange dash bits
Exhaust
Laguna splitter in favour of an Astra MK4 one
Tidy up overspray etc etc
A damn good clean/polish

Then i have a vague direction i want to head in with it....

Heres a couple pics of it near my house - Still needs a good clean!
(excuse the side repeaters, ive fixed them straight since taking these pics!)

BIG BIG BIG thanks to Shady, Ross B, Mike (Vtakmike), and anyone else who held a spanner, helped me find lost bolts, or wiggled a dodgy looking wire

Thats a Laguna splitter on in the pics, but il soon swap it for either an Astra Mk4 one, or none at all.....

This car is alot of fun. Been giving a bit of stick over the past few days and its a good fun car! Goes quite well considering!
